Visa ''Morning in Manhattan'' Spot
This is the Visa spot I shot in 2007. It's called "Morning in Manhattan," and was shot right in the heart of NYC.
I really didn't know how big this one would get until people told me they saw it at movie theaters. I simply can't imagine seeing my head that big.
The spot was directed by Kinka Usher, who was the director on the original "Yo Quiero Taco Bell" commercials among other big spots. He also directed Mystery Men with Ben Stiller, Janeane Garofalo, Greg Kinnear and William H. Macy.
You can see more of Kinka's really impressive body of work at this site.
The agency behind the whole thing was the excellent TBWA/Chiat/Day, and the spot was cast by the good people at Telsey + Company.
Fun Trivia:
The girl in the beginning at the coffee shop is J. Elaine Marcos, who was in Filmic Achievement with me. She's awesome. (View)

Tuscan Milk ''New Label'' Spot
This is the spot shot in 2007 for Tuscan Milk, celebrating the company's new label/logo.
Believe it or not, despite being crammed in that milk bottle all day, I had a lot of fun. The director, Christopher Bean, kept it fun and loose, and let me do some improv along the way (I ad-libbed the last line of the spot).
I also did a 15-second version of the spot and a radio version, both of which can be found on the Tuscan Dairy web site.
Both the TV and radio spots were written for MacGuffin Films by the very talented Jill Scherrer.
Gotta give credit to Barry Shapiro of Herman-Lipson Casting, who had the skilled eye necessary to find the right pair of legs to stick out the bottom of that suit. (View)

SpikeTV ''Maximum MLB'' Promo
This is the promo for SpikeTV's Maximum MLB, which was shot in 2005.
The spot was shot at a Modell's in New Jersey, and because the store does actual business, we had to shoot overnight.

Fun Trivia:

Beverly Hospital 2004 Spot
This is the commerical I did for Beverly Hospital that was produced in 2004.
It was shot beautifully on a serene beach outside Boston with a very cool crew. Not too shabby, I say.

Boston Market ''Big Bags'' Spot
This is the Boston Market commercial I shot in 2004.
It was produced by Picture Park (the same company behind the BJ's Wholesale spots I did back in 2003) and was shot in -- where else? -- Boston, MA.
Actually, truth be told, it was shot in Swampscott, but who's counting?

Microsoft ''Great Moments'' Spot
This is the Microsoft Office commercial I did back in 2003. The entire group was a lot of fun to work with and was extremely talented to boot.
Yes, that is me with the tongue, by the way.

Wendy's ''Baseball'' Spot

A Dave At The Marriott
This is a funny little video bit I recently did in honor of my friend Eliot's 30th Birthday. Eliot decided to throw a huge weekend- long party in NYC, and asked Pete the Loon to capture all of it on digital video. Much of it featured Eliot's friends saying nice things about him -- much deserved, I might add. When it came time for me to do my tribute to Eliot, I decided I should do more than just the standard tribute. It was totally done on-the-fly from the Marriott Marquis hotel (with some recent minor editing), and we had a blast doing it.
