Onion News Network
I've been fortunate enough to work with the amazingly funny folks at The Onion on two different occasions (well, three... I'll explain).
My first time was in a piece shown on the online version of ONN as part of their Election '08 coverage. I played a spokesperson for then-possible-candidate Hilary Clinton:
I jumped back in with the Onion-ites (can I call them that?) for the TV version shown on IFC. This time I got to play James Cook, a divorced father:
Both of those pieces were directed by William Wissler Graham, who is hilarious and fun to work with.
Oh, that third opportunity? I had the fortune of studying and performing improv with Joe Garden, who is the features editor at The Onion. Joe was able to let us use their office as a rehearsal space, and I always thought it was so cool to have an inside look at the Onion legend.
