''Running Funny'' Gets Distribution Deal!
Coming to a something near you!

June 28, 2008

I'm really proud and excited to share the news that Running Funny, a film adapted and directed by my friend Anthony Grippa, has been acquired by LifeSize Entertainment for distribution!

Running Funny was originally written for the stage by Anthony's uncle, Charles Evered, and when it was first produced back in 1988, a young Paul Giamatti held down one of the leading roles.

Anthony poured his heart and soul into the project, and the end result shows it.

Running Funny stars veteran film and stage actor Louis Zorich and young up-and-comers Gene Gallerano and Maximilian Osinski.

I also make a brief cameo as a job interviewer.  I was flattered Anthony asked me to do it, given how many people he had to choose from.

I may be biased, but my favorite performance in the film was turned in by my house.  Yes, some of the scenes were shot in my bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and on my front porch.  Since the announcement, my house has been insufferable, asking for a personal assistant and 10% of the gross.  Just horrible.

Congrats to Anthony and the cast and crew of Running Funny!
